On 19th February 2025, Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Pu Lalduhoma inaugrated the Federation Encalve Sample Flat and Community Centre at Ainawn Veng, Aizawl, marking a significant milestone in Mizoram's urban development.
The Federation Enclave project by CCBA Designs represents a major step in Mizoram's urban housing development, ensuring that government employees and residents have access to modern, high-quality and affordable homes.
The project is a joint venture between FMGE&W (Mizoram Government Employees Housing Society) and Blue Mountain Engineering & Services Limited. It is expected to be completed by 2027 and will house approximately 350 families and 2,000 residents in 2,3 and 4 BHK's. The inauguration took place at the Complex Community Centre where the Sample Flat was showcased. The Chief Minister inspected the flat and officially launched the mass booking poccess for interested buyers. Among the dignitaries present was Mr. Rahul Sathe, Director of CCBA Designs, the architecture firm behind the project. He also presented the book Architecture for Modern India, authored by the late Prof. Christopher Charles Benninger, the visionary behind the design.
