Noel V Jerald is a highly experienced architect with a broad portfolio spanning various sectors, including institutional buildings, master planning, laboratories, corporate offices, factories, luxury hotels, healthcare, and residential projects. His career began in 2006 at CCBA, where he contributed to the renowned Samundra Institute of Maritime Studies in Lonavala.
Starting as a team member, Noel quickly rose through the ranks to project architect, leading high-profile projects for Bajaj Auto, such as the Bajaj Science Centre in Wardha and the Bajaj Brand View in Pune. His deep involvement in these projects, from design development to execution, highlighted his passion for intricate design details and innovative solutions. His blend of creativity and functionality enabled him to take on senior roles, including leading the Hyderabad Governance Centre project for the Andhra Pradesh DTCP.
He played a pivotal role in realizing iconic projects like the Bajaj Institute of Technology (BIT) in Wardha and the Bajaj Business Management College in Nagpur, working closely with legendary architect Prof. Christopher Benninger. Pledged to see the unique and challenging designs of the master architect take shape in reality, he has poured his soul in detailing, handling execution and stakeholder management.
Currently, he oversees significant projects such as the Azim Premji University in Bangalore, the Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF) in Vellore, and the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) in Mumbai. He has also worked on numerous projects, including Gujarat’s four District Science Centers, and has participated in high-profile competitions like IIM Raipur and IIM Mumbai. His past work includes notable projects such as Suzlon One Earth, COEP Pune, the Master Plan for COEP and Pune University, Green Valley Shanghai, and the Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies in Pune.
A seasoned professional, he is involved in every stage of project development, from conceptual design to construction completion. He is committed to creating spaces tailored to specific functions, blending the client’s vision with the site context, nature, culture, history, regulatory requirements, and green building principles. His expertise extends to solving structural and material challenges without compromising architectural integrity. Passionate about design sustainability, Noel strives to create buildings that honor the past, serve the present, and stand the test of time.
Throughout his career, Noel’s work has garnered numerous national and international awards, including recognition for the design of his own home. He has also been awarded multiple times for his own house design.
